I’m totally for this. Have you had any luck convincing any local governments in Colorado to take action? I have never heard of this type of movement until I started researching it. Is there a way I can help your movement out locally here in Manitou Springs?

Excellent site! You need to go one step further.
Add a place where businesses can sign up too. As a representative of the janitorial industry I can’t begin to describe the number of shrink wrapped bundles of yellow pages books that never even get opened but rather go from the lobby directly to the dumpster!
3 to 4x a year these bundles of books get dropped off on weekends at the business address and are found on Monday with a post-it note asking the janitorial staff to throw them out.

I am going to put a link to your site on ours.

I work at a high school, a science teacher sent everyone in the building a link to your website in an e-mail. Think about this….there should be a law that every phone book must print information on how to opt out of the annoying auto-delivery, on the inside of the front cover. Just like how magazines list their publishing info.

Thanks so much!

Thanks for your efforts to reduce landfill by stopping the unsolicited
delivery of phone books. I heard about your site on our local freecyle
board.
